dyNALOX Locking module

This planetary gear unit is a compact and efficient solution for industrial applications where high torque, low speed and high precision are required. The gear unit has a coaxial shaft orientation with a solid output shaft and is available in two or three-stage design, with a maximum torque between 0.2 and 0.5 Nm and a rotational speed of up to 140 rpm. With a very low backlash of no more than 0.02° and a sintered sleeve bearing on the output shaft, it offers stable and reliable operation even in demanding environments. The outer diameter is only 12 mm, making the gear unit ideal for space-critical applications.

Integrated into this gear is the dyNALOX locking module, an innovative solution that prevents the output shaft from affecting the input. The system is designed to transmit torque in one direction – from motor to load – while any external influence on the output shaft is not transmitted back to the motor. This means that the gear can hold the load in position even when the motor is de-energized. The function is made possible by a simple mechanical principle that can be integrated with just a few millimeters of addition to a conventional planetary gear.

This gear solution is particularly well suited for applications such as robotics, automated machines, lifting systems and other industrial applications where operational reliability, compact design and self-locking function are crucial.
