CRS/CRR17-15

The CRS/CRR17-15 is a powerful coreless DC servo motor from Orbray, designed for high performance in demanding RC applications. With precious metal brushes and sintered sleeve bearings, it combines reliable electrical contact with low friction and long life, making it ideal for fast, precise movements.

The motor is available in two versions: CRS17-1502, the standard model with balanced performance, and CRR17-1502, which focuses on higher torque. Both versions operate at 7.4 V and deliver speeds of up to 23900 rpm. The output power is 5.6–8.1 W with an efficiency of up to 79.9%.

Thanks to its coreless rotor, the CRS/CRR17-15 has low inertia and a fast mechanical time constant – just 14.8 to 19.8 milliseconds – enabling immediate and responsive response. With a stall torque of up to 12.95 mNm, the motor can handle high loads despite its compact size. It weighs just 17 grams and has a diameter of 17 mm.

Please note that this model cannot be combined with a reduction gear. It is designed for operation in temperatures between -10 and +60 °C and is equipped with a five-part commutator for smooth and efficient operation.
