Small Motors

Small motors are used in a variety of applications where precision, efficiency and compact design are crucial. These motors are available in several variants with different characteristics depending on the application. Brush motors with coreless moving coil technology are lightweight and feature fast starting and stopping. For more demanding applications, there are brushless motors, which are quiet and designed for high power and long life. 4-pole high-torque motors offer higher torque thanks to increased magnetic density, while RC servo motors are optimized for fast response and high output torque, made possible by advances in battery technology. Orbray's proprietary dyNALOX locking system allows torque transfer from input to output, but not vice versa – perfect for secure locking mechanisms.

Additional components such as gearheads (helical and planetary gears), encoders (optical and magnetic), and motordrives (compact servo and brushless motor controls) make these motors flexible for a wide range of needs. For even greater customization, Orbray offers custom designs – for example, different sizes, gear solutions (such as worm gears), improved durability, integrated shafts, and low-temperature lubricants.

Brushed motors: Coreless moving coil technology provides low weight and is superior in fast starting and stopping.

Brushless motors: Designed for high power and quiet operation. Suitable for long-term use.

4-pole high torque motors: Using a 4-pole magnet increases the effective magnetic density, which greatly improves the torque constant.

RC servo motors: The RC servo motor has been developed with a focus on "high speed response" and "high output", in line with the development of batteries.

dyNALOX locking system: "dyNALOX" is Orbray's proprietary locking system where torque is transferred from input to output, but not vice versa.

Gearheads: Spur gearhead and planetary gearhead.

Encoders: Magnetic and optical.

Motor controls: Compact servo drivers and brushless motor controls.
