CRS/CRR12-15
The CRS/CRR12-15 is a compact and high-performance RC servo motor in Orbray's coreless DC series. The motor is equipped with precious metal brushes and sintered sleeve bearings, which provide low friction, good heat resistance and high reliability in demanding operation. It is specifically designed for fast and precise movements in RC applications where fast response and precise control are essential.
The motor is available in two versions: the CRS12-1503, which is the standard high-efficiency model, and the CRR12-1504, a variant with faster mechanical response. Both models operate at 7.4 V and reach no-load speeds of up to 37,700 rpm. The output power is 3.3–4.3 W, with a maximum efficiency of over 70%.
Thanks to its coreless rotor, the CRS/CRR12-15 has low inertia and very fast response time. The mechanical time constant is only 15–19 ms depending on the model, making the motor ideal for applications that require fast angular movements with high precision. With a weight of only 9 grams and a diameter of 12 mm, it is easy to integrate into compact servo systems.
Please note that the model is not compatible with reduction gears. The motor operates in temperatures between -10 °C and +50 °C and has a robust construction with a five-part commutator.
