Fire and security door holders

Electromagnetic fire door holders are designed to hold fire doors open in environments where free access is essential, whilst ensuring safe closure in the event of a fire. They are connected to fire alarm systems which automatically cut power in the event of an alarm, releasing the door to close. Holding is achieved using a flat or pivoting holding plate when the unit is powered, and release can also be done manually via a button. These holders are ideal for public spaces such as hospitals, offices, theatres, cinemas, airports, hotels, shopping centres, schools, warehouses, car parks and care homes. They are an essential part of fire safety, available in 24V DC, and are compatible with all types of fire protection systems. They can be surface mounted, flush mounted or in the floor and are designed to withstand high traffic and accidental impact. The models are available in robust ABS, are CE marked and comply with the EN1155 standard.
