BMN02-0593

BMN02-0593

The BMN02-0593 is a brushless DC micromotor from Orbray and belongs to the world's smallest class of hollow shaft motors. Thanks to the hollow shaft design, optical fibers can be routed straight through the motor, enabling the development of ultra-compact optical actuators. This feature makes the motor particularly valuable in medical and industrial applications where space is limited and precision is crucial – for example in optical coherence tomography (OCT) and endoscopy.

With a rated voltage of 4 V, a stall torque of 0.01 mNm and a stall current of only 43 mA, the BMN02-0593 offers high reliability and efficient performance in an extremely small form factor. The motor is coreless, providing low inertia and smooth motion control, and brushless, ensuring long life and minimal maintenance.

The BMN02-0593 is ideal for advanced measurement systems in medicine and analytics, as well as for developing technologies that monitor wear and internal conditions in vehicles, aircraft and infrastructure. It is also used in the design of extremely compact manipulators where wiring must be minimized. This is a motor that combines miniaturization, high performance and reliability – in one of the world’s smallest motor platforms.
