BMN07-12XX

BMN07-12XX

The BMN07-12XX is a brushless, sensorless micromotor from Orbray, developed for applications that require compact design, low weight and high performance. With a diameter of 7 mm and a length of 12 mm, this motor offers powerful operation in a very small format. It is equipped with sleeve bearings and is designed to be combined with planetary gears to achieve the desired gear ratio and torque.

The motor is available in 3.0 V and 5.0 V versions, with a no-load speed of over 21,000 rpm. It has a stall torque of 0.30 mNm and an output power of 0.2 W, with an efficiency of up to 22%. The terminal resistance varies depending on the model, contributing to different performance profiles. With low friction, fast mechanical response time and low rotor inertia, the BMN07-12XX provides smooth and responsive operation, even with very small movements.

The motor is built to withstand temperatures from -20 to 80 °C and has a maximum winding temperature of 90 °C. It weighs only 3.8 grams and can handle radial shaft loads up to 0.27 N and axial loads up to 4.9 N in a stationary position. A sensored version is available as an option for applications requiring precise position control.

The BMN07-12XX is particularly suitable for medical technology, precision mechanics, microrobotics and other high-precision systems where size, power and reliability are crucial.
