CMS07-17

CMS07-17 is a brushed DC motor in Orbray’s CMS series, equipped with coreless winding, a precious metal commutator and a sintered sleeve bearing. With a diameter of 7 mm and a length of 17 mm, it combines compact design with high performance and reliability, making it particularly suitable for applications where size, precision and low power consumption are essential.

The motor is available in versions for both 3.7 V and 7.4 V, with a no-load speed of up to 22,100 rpm and a stall torque of up to 0.94 mNm. It offers an output power of 0.5 W and an efficiency of up to 67%. The terminal resistance varies depending on the model and affects performance and power consumption. CMS07-17 is designed to handle both radial and axial loads, with good mechanical stability and low friction.

The motor operates in temperatures from -20 to 80 °C and weighs only 3.5 grams. It is also compatible with Orbray’s planetary gearheads to provide gearing when higher torque or lower speeds are required.
