RC Servo Motors
Our RC servo motors from Orbrays are specially developed to meet the high demands placed on radio-controlled applications, where fast response and high output power are crucial. With the development of powerful batteries such as Ni-MH, Li-Fe and Li-Po, the need for motors that can handle high current and heat has increased significantly - something Orbray has taken note of.

RC servo motors – Fast response and high output for demanding applications
The RC servo motors are based on coreless winding technology, where the rotor is designed as a basket-shaped coil. This provides low inertia and very fast response during start-up and acceleration. The stator is also wound without an iron core, which eliminates jerky movement (cogging) and allows smooth operation with high current levels and effective heat dissipation. These characteristics make the motors ideal for servo movements that require fast, repeated movements within a limited angular range – often 60 degrees – where the motor is continuously loaded with high current.
Traditional brushed motors have limited lifespan in these environments due to the intense heat generated during operation. Orbray has therefore developed brushless versions with coreless winding, which extends lifespan while maintaining fast response and high performance. The motors are available in both standard and high response versions, with diameters of 12 or 17 mm and lengths adapted for integration into common RC servo housings.
Thanks to extremely short mechanical time constants and optimized efficiency, Orbray's brushless RC servo motors have become a valued solution for users who demand precision, durability, and speed – whether for model aircraft, robotics, or other highly dynamic control systems.
