BRS/BRT 17-18

The BRS/BRT 17-18 is a powerful brushless RC servo motor from Orbray, equipped with Hall sensors and sintered sleeve bearings for high precision and reliable feedback. It is specifically designed for applications where both high torque and fast response are crucial – for example in advanced RC systems and robotics.

The motor is available in two versions: the BRS17-1802, which is the standard model with balanced performance, and the BRT17-18R8, which is a high-torque variant. Both operate at 7.4 V and deliver an output of up to 15.4 W. The speed reaches up to 27,300 rpm and the torque ranges from 10.80 to a whopping 23.09 mNm. The high efficiency – up to 70% – combined with a short mechanical time constant makes these motors very fast and responsive.

With coreless winding and brushless design, the motor has low inertia and smooth, jerk-free movement, while Hall sensors provide precise feedback for position control. The motor is designed for temperatures from -10 °C to +50 °C and has a weight of 22 grams. Reduction gear cannot be used with this model.
